Dawn is a proud mother of three who, on August 10, 2016, lost her son, Blake, to accidental overdose. She is devoted to helping others who have a loved one struggling with addiction by offering resources and educating them. She founded this foundation immediately after her son's passing with the drive to avoid other families from going through the struggle and search for help. She is also a real estate professional, full time college student in the process of completing her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Organizational Leadership. She resides in Alpharetta with her family and horses. She is an avid rider and also enjoys painting, reading, golfing, weight lifting and running. An active member of her community, she is the Alpharetta representative for Realty4Rehab, a board member of Glacia's House Women's Rehab Facility, participates in the Alpharetta Business Association, the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and the Cobb Chamber of Commerce. She served as a Member of the Kennesaw Business Association and the Acworth Business Association, the President of the Lacrosse Booster Club at Kennesaw Mountain High School and for three years on the City of Kennesaw Alcohol Review Board. She volunteers and supports MUST Ministries and Shop with a Hero, in addition to a strong community involvement with numerous organizations fighting the Opioid epidemic.
